A social documentary exploring perceived generation gaps.

For the first time ever in britain there are more people over 50 than under 25 years of age.

This demographic shift highlights the social issues and challenges we will face in the coming years. Bridging the Gap was made by young people and explores the challenges of perceived generational differences. It seeks to present an allternative view of how generations can come together and explore what they have in common, share and can learn from each other.

Young people and children worked on arts projects together and created the content for this documentary The film was executively produced by Andrew Henon, directed and edited by young people studying on the media diploma at Frome Community College.

It was supported and funded by the Cabinet Office of the third sector through the 'Company of Voices' Somerset county council pilot project. Technical support and funding oversight was facilitated by Somerset Film.
