Mahenderpal Sorya is a visual artist, lecturer and researcher based in London. His practice consists of painting, printmaking, sculpture and film. He has a particular interest in experimental and essay film making and has worked on a number of projects exploring South Asian diasporic memory, most recently an AHRC project titled Imagining India; focussed on the memories, experiences, and relationship to India of first and second generation South Asian communities in the UK.
